Cold-pressed juices use a hydraulic press to extract the juice from a variety of fruits and vegetables. I remember watching my mother create juice concoctions with her Jack La Lanner juicer in the 90's. I thought she was crazy taking perfectly round ripe fruit and bright colored veggies,adding them to a loud slaughter machine. The sweet smell caught my attention, the flowing liquid on the other end caught my eyes. I took it as a Fear Factor challenge, no way could it taste like anything but muddy water. Needless to say after my foamy,pulp mustache was licked away a seed for jucing was planted.
